We want to thank Bruce Van Natta & Bruce Carlson for taking the time during their visit to Wichita to not only Minister to the men & women of Working Men of Christ but also for joining us in Winfield Correctional Facility on Monday evening to minister to those whom are incarcerated! 14 men gave their life's to Jesus Christ in Winfield and MANY were baptized in the Holy Spirit!!! It was truly AMAZING!!
We had an amazing weekend visiting both Stockton & Norton Correctional Facilities with the "You Can Do It Too" Prison Tour. We ministered to 210 men and were blessed to see 52 men come to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Be in prayer for these men to continue to allow the Holy Spirit to renew their mind and begin to walk where they were created to conquer! Our next facility we will be visiting is Ellsworth Correctional Facility on March 6th. We are excited that Katie Souza's personal assistant, Maria Christina Pizarro will be joining us for this event!
Mark 16:17 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
I feel like since I posted that video this morning I owe it to you guys to tell you about what happened tonight in the prison in Norton.
This prison tour I'm a part of did two services tonight both with a packed out gym. The first service was filled with powerful worship from some youngsters from Wichita that just brought the house down, insane...
That service was much like the rest we do, testimonies, a Word and time for the guys to receive Christ and respond however he leads them.
The second service... Tough crowd. Packed house, full of guys just staring at us like we were annoying the crap out of them. No words were going to convince these guys of anything. Seriously. They needed to see the power of God, which is why we're there right? If not what are we doing anyways.
So Spencer starts calling out guys for healing starting with tumors. Here I am standing in front of these guys 1 night after a healing praying for a man to be healed from this tumor. Let me tell you; it didn't happen.
I looked like a total and complete fool in front of a gym full of prisoners. I walked back trying to hold back my disappointment and just about to sit down when all of the sudden Jesus asked me if I was willing to be a fool for him. A fool for him? I thought that's what just happened.
Before I knew it my inner man walked me out to center court and had me telling these men that I was trying to hold back my humiliation for that not working and explained to them that even though it did not happen that I was willing to be a fool for Christ.
After that I felt the presence of God with me as I shared how Jesus was a fool for us and lived to be beaten to a pulp and die for us still knowing that we would still reject most of what He spent his life teaching us and that even though most of us in that gym had no, or horrible examples of a father but we all have a chance to be fathered perfectly because of what Jesus accomplished.
Friends, after that I asked these broken, scared, fearful men if they would like to be fools for him too to come stand beside me and almost every single man came down to that court! Praise God!!
I learned a lesson tonight. I learned that when He said that when He will be lifted up He will draw all men unto himself. And that God opposes the proud but he truly does give grace to the humble.
Sorry for the long post, well not really. 😀 but if you read this far I feel like you deserve to hear the Whole Gospel which give perfect freedom and is no respecter of persons. And that if you truly want to show someone the love of Christ, don't dance around...do it! People have seen so much junk and are starving for the real thing, we all are really. God bless!
